Bicycle Tours
If you’re reading this, you’ve certainly been around. You’ve seen the sights in a dozen countries. You’ve been driven from one magnificent sight to the next. But have you really felt the land, it’s people, it’s texture, how it’s different puzzle piece blend in to become the beautiful tapestry you’ve come to experience?
I always found traveling by car lacking, until I discovered cycle-touring, and I’d like to share my passion with you. Having cycled through parts of India, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, and, of course, Israel, I’ve come to realise it’s an ideal way to get down to earth, and slowly experience this packed land.
My cycle tours are suited to your needs. You will not need prior experience, your own bicycle, and to be an athlete. You need only need be curious. Options range from a single-day tour of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, to a multi-day excursion through Israel’s picturesque sites, sleeping at unusual boutique accommodations along the way. We will stop along the way to get to know the local people, take unexpected turns and discover little-known sites. In short, I’m inviting you on a proper adventure.
Hiking Tours
Not so long ago, most people walked everywhere. Abraham and Sarah, Christ and his Disciples, generals and pilgrims - knew well that to know the land, is to walk it. I invite you to join me on a variety of hikes through Israel’s surprisingly varied landscape - from the dramatic desert mountains of the South, through the lush Jerusalem Mountains, through the wooded nature reserves of the Upper Galilee and the endless volcanic plateau of the Golan.
Take a single day hike in an area of your choice - for instance, why not peak at the hills around Jerusalem, where you can find natural springs, Crusader castles and unexpected people living on the land?
You can also join me for a multi-day excursion through the North forests or the South desert, where we can sleep under the stars or in a comfortable traveler’s inn. This way, you will find out what Israel really has to offer, away from the crowds - serenity, beautiful scenery, history and archeological sites not otherwise accessible.
